Hello Ramblers

Congratulations to all who made the Christmas Party such a success. It was very well attended. It was nice to see so many of our friends from the LCC there.  Thanks to all who donated prizes for the raffle. The Christmas dinner was also a success and attended by 29 members.  News about the summer party in the next programme. We are now looking forward to a year of good rambles and social events. It is good to see so pay regular ramblers out on the Sunday rambles. Hopefully this will encourage new ramble leaders who are always needed and most welcome.

We have now renewed contact with the President of the club who is Fr David Barnes P.P. at St. Mary Moorfields Church at Moorgate. He celebrated 19 years as a priest recently, and I took the liberty of sending him a card which was signed by 34 members of the club who were out on the Sunday ramble. I received a nice letter from Fr. David saying he is looking forward to meeting with the club in the near future.
