I  have received the following information regarding ramblers who may be wanting to join or leave the John's ramble, which I  have copied and pasted below.

"Presumably John Chenery's earlier e-mail was referring to the Brighton & Hove Pride Weekend "Brighton Pride 2025" walk rather than any train problems.
In case it helps anyone who needs to join or leave the walk at lunchtime, it seems that bus 22 will be running three times per hour from a temporary terminus at the Open Market and The Level, both being next to each other, a few minutes' walk East / North East of the station and then across London Road, the nearby streets being Baker Street, Francis Street and Ditchling Road.  Journey time to the Downs Hotel at Woodingdean should be about 14 minutes.
I can't offer any wisdom about train tickets because of the one way journey from Southease at the end.  From the National Rail Journey Planner, Super Off Peak Day Return tickets from London Bridge to Brighton appear to be £20 cheaper than the Off Peak ones from Victoria to Brighton.  The cheaper ones may be valid only on Thameslink trains, but the computer wasn't saying as much!"

Regards

Margaret
