In 1990 I had relatively recently rejoined the club after a 13 year gap in which my membership lapsed. I was really enjoying the weekly rambles and making new friends in the club. One of them was Tom Lally who at that time was a regular ramble leader and had served on the committee and on Sunday 21 October 1990 he led the following walk from Amersham to Wendover:

SUNDAY 21 OCTOBER 190                                          Leader: Tom Lally

Meet: BAKER STREET at 10:35 for the 10:50 train to AMERSHAM

                                                                                  (Arrives: 11 :24)

Lunch: The Rising Sun, Little Hampden                    Tea: Wendover

Distance: 12 miles       Fare: £3.70 CDR - Returning from Wendover.

I'm not sure who took the following photographs (obviously not myself as I am in at least one of them) but I recently identified the ramble on which they were taken.

Facing the camera is a lady who was a dedicated committee member and occasionally stood in as "Duty Member" when I rejoined but hung up her boots not long after this photograph was taken.

In the foreground in this photograph is Bryan (later Father Bryan) Jones who was also a committee member and membership secretary. Unfortunately he died in 2020, not of Coronia Virus but the lockdown caused by the virus prevented us from attending his funeral. I am next to him and on the other side of me is the late Ossie Barrett. At the back, standing and wearing shorts and a rucksack on his back is the late Ron Scott who was then club Treasurer and died in 2019.
