The walk published in the programme for Sunday 25 November was intended to be the last one to be led by Paul Brunning. This would have brought Paul’s total to 174 walks since he led his first one on 9 February 1986, but unfortunately an injury prevented him from leading it and an alternative walk was led by Roger and Virginia Yelland as follows:

OS Explorer map 162

Meet: Cannon Street 0930 for 0951 train to Petts Wood (arr 1022)

The ramble is expected to finish there around 3pm and Paul Brunning will be coming along to meet everyone.

Members who are not able to come on the ramble are very welcome to turn up.

Distance: 8 miles

Fare: Oyster/Freedom pass/Travelcard options

Roger may meet the ramblers at Petts Wood.

Due to the splendid communications organised by Paul Connolly and Maurice the word of the change of plan got to a large number of members and as far as I know nobody turned up at the originally planned starting point;

Fortunately Antoinette Adkins was one of the ones who got the message and has kindly provided the following photographs of the day's ramble.
