ANNUAL CLUB MASS AND COACH OUTING
'!'he !mnual Club Mass will be celebrated at 9.30.a.m. at St. Mary Moorfields on Sunday, 5th October. Please make a special. effort to come along to this Mass. It will be followed by a coach outing to the Constable Cauntry visiting East Bergholt, Flatford Mill and Lavenham, The coach will depart from outside St. Mar,yMoorfields at ·10.30, immediately after Mass. . The fare will be £2. which may be paid· to Joan or any Cornmittee member in order to reserve a place.

This will be held,at 7.30.p.m. on Tuesday, October 7th 1975 and vdll be preceded by Mass at St.Joseph's Bunhill Row at 7.00.pm. Mass will be offered for deceased perents of members, especially for Joan Blandino's father and Len Bulaitis' father.


A nomination form for the new conunittee is on the bottom of the final page of this list and should be returned to either Therese or Joan by 20th September.


The conunittee is comprIsed of four ladies and four gentlemen, including the
Secretar,y and Treasurer. Members have special responsibilities, shown at the bepinning of this list, and also act as duty members on rambles. This involves seeing that nobody gets lost, and taking rcsponsibility for new members.


If you have enjoyed activities with the Club, do consider giving something back by serving on the conunittee for a yeer.


ST.JOSEPH'S BAZAAR  25th October 1975
The Bazaarwill be held in the Autumn and Nora Smeaton will again be running a Club stall and would be grateful for any donations or gifts. These may be brought to the A.G..M. or sent to Nora at home. Please support the Bazaar as it is a way of showinrr our gratitude to Fr. Higgs for allowing the use of the school during the year.

party will go on the Sunday walk. as mentioned on the list for 29th September

 

Mas for deceased members
This will be held at 9.30.a.m. at St. Mary Moorfields on Sunday, 9th November 1975. The ramble will start from Liverpool Street Station on that day.


APPEAL
For old lists and Club magazines. At one time we had a complete collection going back to pre-war days but they seem to have been either thrown away or lost. Joan will be happy receive any contributions in order that we might build up the collection again and construct a history of the Club.

Meg Walsh is organising a party to see Coppelia. at Sadlers Wells, Rosebery Avenue and has a few tickets left. Contact Meg, The tickets
party rate cost £1.


Sunday - 12th October 1975.
The ramble willend with tea at St. J ohn's Church, Mill End, Rickmanswarth and Mass at 6.00. Fr. Gardner, the Parish Priest, and Club member, has invited us to spend the evening and it is sugg ested thpt we make this an informal evening with members bringing rccords.

Maurice Hickman is organising a party to attend a Weekend for prayer end study on the theme "Mission in the Third World" at St. David's College, Carr og, North Wales.
