SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions for 1982/83 are now due. The annual .subscription is £.2.00. Life membership subscription is £20.00 (for those who have been members for at 10 years). All subscriptions should be paid by 31 December or membership will be reg arded as lapsed.

THE AGM
I have been persuaded to take on the Secretary's job on the understanding that I will be mainly concerned with the cohesion side of the job. That Club members will help (as they always do) with events Iike Croxley Green and with the running off of the Club list and magazine. I am afraid I can only be relied upon as far as British Rail Southern Region will let me be. Fortunately I am being .assisted by a very able and.energetic conmittee.

At the AGM it was agreed the following motion be put to a General Meeting:-
"That non-catholics, if introduced by members, may be admitted to associate
mebership of the Club."

This motion will be included in the agenda for next October's Annual General Meeting. This gives you ten months to think about it and to debate the issue in the Magazine (if an Editor can be found), although of course only those attending the Annual General Meeting can vote on it.

It was also agreed at the AGM to raise the subscription from the next club year to £3.

Angela is again arranging visits to theatres etc. As these have to be arranged at short, notice, they cannot always appear on the list. If you are interested, let Angela know and she will keep you informed.

Philip will: welcome offers to lead rambles. If you wish to lead a ranbIe during the months of March, April or May, Philip will need the details by the end of January.

Don't forget your torc
hes now we have the dark evenings again.

Always make sure the back of the ramble is in sight. If you can I t see those behind you when the ramble turns onto another path, attract the attention of those in front of you so that the leader will be told to wait. We don't want anymore members getting lost as happened· last October.
