Please note that Bridie Barry, our new Treasurer, will be moving to a new address in the New Year, so it would be most appreciated if you could ensure that your subscription reaches her at her present address by 31 December.


CHEAP FARES

Please note that Network South East Card, Annual Capital Card and Annual British Rail season ticket holders are entitled to take up to three other travellers on their cards at a reduced rate (30% off). For longer journeys we would advise you to see other members at the meeting point before buying your ticket.


PUB FOOD AND ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS

It would be most helpful if nernbers offering to lead walks could specify whether food is available at the Pub and also quote the Ordnance Survey map reference of their walk when sending details to Ph!lip Evana for the ramble list.


CHRISTMAS RAMBLE - SUNDAY 13 DECEMBER.

The ramble will be followed by tea and a square dance at St Bede's Hall, Croxley Green, from 7 00 pm for which there will be a charge of £1.50. Please bring soft shoes. Evening Mass in St Bede's Church is at 6 00 pm - for those who would like to attend.


CHRISTMAS PARTY - SATURDAY 9 JANUARY 1988
This will be held in the church hall beneath St Anselm's and St Cecilia's, Kingsway WCl. Catch a Central line or Piccadilly
line tube to HOLBORN, on leaving the station, walk down KINGSWAY,
the Church is about 120 yards along on the left.
There will be Mass in the church at 6 00 pm. Tea will be from 6 30 pm followed by a Square Dance.
Cost of admission will be 2..00. Offers of home made cakes and savouries will be welcome. Help will also be needed on the day from 4 00 pm - please bring tea towels, aprons etc.
