PRAYERS
For Joe Lee - many members may be aware that Joe has been ill for
some time. He has now gone back to Ireland to live. Please
remember him in your prayers. If anyone would like to write to him
his, address is 28 Stephen Street, Kilkenny City, County Kilkenny,
Ireland.
To Theatre Goers - we hear from Madeleine Lane that the Portune Theatre Managar is a Catholic and puts on good plays so thought it
might be a good idea to support this theatre. If we can get.
large enough group we could get a reduction - weekday prices are
lower than weekends. The play is Tolkien's "THE HOBBIT". Please
contact Mary walsh, if interested.
NB The paper copy of the above was originally misfiled and initially published on the website as the first two pages of the Autumn 1987 programme. However from the dates of events listed and the membership of the committee it clearly belongs here in the Winter 1986 - 87 programme and there is no extant copy of the first two pages of the Autumn 1987 programme.
