At the last AGM it was agree that associate membership should ho oppen to non Catholic friends of existing members.
CHRISTMAS RAMBLE - -SUNDAY 11 DECEMBER
See ramble list for details. The ramble will be followed by tea and a square dance at St Bede's Hall, Croxlley Green, for whhlch there will be a charge of £2. There is evening Mass at St Bede's Church at 6 00 pm. Offers of help In preparing the tea on the day will be welcome and should be made to Rena Borq. Philip Evans will be ' orgising the: squaro dancing.
CHRISTMAS PARTY - SATURDAY 14 JANUARY 1984
This will be held In the church hall beneath St Anselm's and St Cecilia's, Kingsway WC1. Catch Central Piccadilly line train to HoIlborn. On leaving the station walk down Kingsway. The church is about 120 yards along on the left. Arrive there frcrn 5 30 pm, There is Mass in the church at 6 00 pm. Tea be from 6 30 followed by a square dance. Cost of admissioo £2.50. Rena Borg is in charge of catering. She will welcome offers of home made cakes , savouries , jellies etc. Help will also be needed on the day from 4 00 pm - brinq tea cloths, r aprons etc.

This will be at Southwark Diocesan Catechetica. Centre, near Tootinq Bec tube station. Please make a special note of this date in your diaries. Details on next list.
YOUTH HOSTEL WEEKEND NEWHAVEN - FRIDAY 17 -SUNDAY 19 FEBRUARY 1984.
We ahall travel ddown on the 18 53 train from Victoria to Lewes where we change to a local train to Newhaven Town Station. This will be a self-catering weekend so bring something to cook att least for Saturday and Sunday breakfast. Those who wish will be eating out at a cafe or restaurant in the evening. If you wish to go please send a deposit of £5 to the Secretary by 14 January. After this date you wil have to make your own bookings.
If you come on this weekend you can enjoy authentic barrack room accommodation in cascmates of Victorian fortress overlooking Newhaven Harbour. On the Saturday there will be a walk over the Downs to Alfriston for lunch. From Alfriston we shall ccntinue the walk along the river and then along the cliffs to Seaford for tea. Hopefully we shall have a full moon this weekend.
EASTER WEEKEND - FRIDAY 20 - MONDAY 23 APRIL 1984
This will be held at Matlock. We shall he staying at Matlock Youth Hostel. We have: the chance of a rnini-bus for travllin' thrre and back. The cost of this will be approximately £6. This will not inclode t.he cost of any extra trips.
There will cnly be 10 spare places on the bus. Thn deposit required. for the
weckend is £9. This will coverr the hostel ovemight fees. If you wish to come
on the mini-bus please let the Secretary knew when you send your deposit. Deposits must. be received by 14 January otherwise you will have to make your cwn bcoking arrangaronts. Please send SAE for details. Alternative travel is avaiIabl.e by train for those unable to come on the bus, also details of alternative bed and breakfast accommodatian.

Money is still flowing in for the duplicator fund, but a lot rrore is still noeded
to meet our Target. Rena Borg would be glad of any donation great or small.

Unfortunately no social events have been organised. for this list other than the events for the fesve seaso. If anyon has any ideas for future social events or wishes to put a social event on the next list, please centact the social activi ties organiser.
RUNNING OFF OF THE CLUB LISTS
Offers of help will bewarmly accepted by the Ccmmittee. The running off takes place from 7 30 pm at Meg and ,Mary Welsh's house, on one or two evenings just baf0rethe current list finishes. Some members go to a Greek restaurant near Clapham Ccmmon station for a mal beforehand.
CATHOLIC YOUTH HOSTEL MASS
There will be a Mass at the Holy Innocents Church in Orpingtcnon on THURSDAY 5 JANUARY at 7 30 pm. Further details from Michael Riley.

If you have never come out on a ramble yet, pleas give it a try. I am sure you will onjoy the experience. We usually congregate at or near the booking office of the main line station and we are also easily recognisable by our attire, anorak, rambling boots etc. The ramblnrs are a friendly lot of peopl and I .am sure you will feel quite at home with us.
