For the information of newer members, the Committee is comprised of four· ladies and four gentlemen. The duties of the Committee include acting as Duty Member on rambles. This involves looking after new members, making

sure that nobody gets lost and that all gates are closed behind the leader. The Committee also assists with running off the lists and magazine and licking the stamps! A member may also have a specific responsibility, e.g.    Compiler of Ramble Lists.

If' you yourself enjoy Club activities, please try and give just one ·year to helping other people to enjoy them also.

The Social Sub-Committee is appointed by the Main Committee and is responsible for planning .and arranging Tuesday evening and Saturday events. The ladies also prepare and serve tea on Tuesdays and the gentlemen help with putting the record equipment out and away again. Although elections are not held for this Committee, it would be helpful if names of people willing to serve on it could be given to the current Club Secretary so that she can pass them on to the next Secretary for her guidance.

ANNUAL MASS FOR DECEASED MEMBERS

This will be said on SUNDAY, 1st NOVEMBER at 9.30 am, at St, Mary Moorfields.

ST. JOSEPH'S BAZAAR

The Bazaar is being held in November this year (date not yet known) and Norah. Smeaton will again. be running a Club stall and would be gratefull for any donations of gifts or cash (however small). Any article at all will be welcome so long as it is borne in mind that the function is a Bazaar and.not a Jumble Sale.

There will not be a bottle stall his year, but any bottles suitable for raffling or small prizes would·be welcome. Small bottles filled w;Lth sweets, toys or children's books for the children's stall or Lucky Dip would also be useful.

Articles or cash can be .given to Norah Smeaton at Bunhill Row or Tuesday evenings or sent to her at her home address.

Please give as much support as you can to this Bazaar as we should be unable to have the use of St. Joseph's School without Father Higgs' co-operation.

Last year the Club stall made a record profit of over £50. Perhaps this year it will be even higher.
