Friday 2nd Sept. At St. Joseph's, Bunhill Row Mass will be offered
on behalf of the Club for the repose of the Soul of Mrs Rigg (Marion' s mother)
Sunday 9th October The ANNUAL MASS FOR CLUB MEMBERS at St, Mary Moorfields at 9.30 am followed by Annual Coach outing to Cambridge: and Sawston Hall. Details as follows: -
Meet South Place, Eldon St. 10.30 to depart at 10.45 SHARP by
Timpson' s Coach. The cost of the day, including tea will be about 15/-. Will all those who wish to come please let Tony Chainey have their. name and a deposit of 10/- by Tuesday the 27th of September.
Tuesday 11th October. The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at St. Joseph's School, Bunhill ROW preceded at 7.30 by Benediction and veneration of the Relic of St. Francis of Assisi.
All motions and nomination for the new Committee to reach the
Secretary. two weeks before the above date i.e. 27th October.
A nomination form is enclosed. The committee is comprised of 4 ladies
and 4 gentlemen, this includes Treasurer and Secretary.
For the benefit of our newer members here are some of the duties
of the committee: -
To assist the secretary in running our events in an orderley way. To take turns at being 'duty member'; the committee' s representative
on each ramble, who looks out for newcomers at the London station
makes sure all gates opened by the Leader are shut again, gives away
plasters for those with sore: feet, collects lots of. money at the Tea Place
and in general helps things to run smoothly.
The committee are entitled to appoint sub committees to help with any
particular activity such as our social events.
No person can serve on a committee for more than two consecutive
years.
One ruile which tends to be hoigotten is 11(j):- "A motion which
proposes to add to the rules or amend or strike out any of the rules
should contain a statement fro that effect.
For those who have lost: their rules some willl be available at the A.G.M.

15th—16th Oct at 7.0 am Saturday 15th. Due back there approximately 10.0 pm Sunday 16th. Cost £16 plus 40 new Francs.
TIME IS GETTING ON. If you would like to join in please contact Miss Paddy Fitzpatrick. Saturday At. St. Joseph's School, Bunhill Row at 3.0 pm the Parish 12th Nov Bazaar is to be held. Some kind helpers from the Club
are organising two Stalls on our behalf: - One for any kind
of Bottles (full ones!), and the other for anything of a general
nature ( new, not jumble please).
Articles may be sent to the School at any time but a Tuesday
Square Dance is Suggested; or to Norah Smeaton at her home address.
May we kindly remind you that without the goodwill of St. Joseph's Parish, the generosity of the Parish Priest and those
who look after the School most of our extra activities would never function. Now. please let us show our generosity and goodwill to this the poorest Parish in London.

a party for Dr Zhivago at the Empire Leicester Square, 7.30. Please contact Denis as soon as possible.

Oct 7th who has died John was with the All-Night Vigil Group from the Club in 1963. He was sick person at that time whose fare was partly sponsrd by the Club. This Mass will be said at St. Joseph's Bunhill Row.
