Please remember in your prayers Jean Horan's father wllo died recently. Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul on TUESDAY  27 NOVEMBER at St Joseph's, Bunhill Row.

Congratulations to PauIa (nee Matt) and Christopher Hopper on the birth of their daughter on 15 October. We hope to see Sara Louise at the forthcoming children's party in the not too distnnt future.

Congratulations are also in order for Frank Keating and Ann Peers on the occasion of their recent engagement. Frank can still be seen escorting his harem around London's nightspots.

We welcome Catherine Faulkner and Michael O'Reilly as new members, and Bill O'Neill, a former member who has rejoined, and hope to see him taking part in many of our activities.

Now that the winter is with us once more and it gets dark very early, is advisable for members to bring along a torch as some rambles won't be ended in daylight.

Some members are guilty of letting a large gap develop between themselves end the leader. This makes the job of the duty member more difficult as they have to keep all ramblers in sight. Please try not to get so carried away in your conversations that you lapse too far behind and lose sight of the rest of the party.

Anyone wishing to lead a ramble during the months of March, April or May, please let Philip Evans have the details by 1 February at the latest.
