Day of' Recollection

 

Sunday 14th March 1971 at 11. a.m. until 5.30 at the Convent of

La Retraite, Atkins Road, Lond SW4. Cost 90p. (18/-) payable on the day. (cost includes lunch and tea. The Retreat will be given by Fr Stillen SM. Pleasev give your name to Mary as soon as possible, rad no later than Tuesday, 9th March 1971.

How to get to La Retraite: - The nearest tube station is Clapham South (Northern Line) about 20-30 r'linutes journey from the Bank or Charing Cross.On leaving the Station cross the main road and turn right (Balha:rn Hill), take the fifth turning on the left (Dinsmore Rd.). Wal:k down Dinsmore Rd, to Cavendish Rd. and Atkins Rd .is almost opposite.The entrance to the Convent is on the right hand side.

 

ANNUAL DINNER AND  DANCE

 

To be held on Saturday, 15th May 1971 at the Shaftesbury Hotel, Monmouth Street, London, WC. 9, at 6.50. p.m. for 7.p.m. (Cost £1.65 - 33/ -) for single people and £1.50 (30/-) for married couples. (Don't all hurry to get married before 15th May 1971). Dress is optional. Tickets obtainable from all

Committee members or write with S.A.E. and the money to Mary. Araffle will

be held in the evening.

 

CHILDREN'S PARTY

 

Saturday - 8th May 1971 at 4.30. organised by Chris Murray for the children

of past end present members. Chris would like to receive offers of help on the day and cakes, jellies etc.

 

CLUB H0LIDAYS

 

Lake District, Mary Hickman is organising a week at Lakeside Hose, Keswick from 29th My to 6th June 1971. Cost about £20. so please send a deposit of £5.00. to Mary as son as possible.

 

Ireland. 17th June to lst July 1971. Dorothy Hickman is organising a fortnight's holiday in Ireland visiting Dublin (for Tara and Newgrange) Castlebar (for its famous Walking- Festival) - and Co. Tipperery (for the
