THANK YOU Tony Chainey for your excellent job of M.C. at the Christmas Party and also Carla Guise, Christopher Jones and Phllip Evans for your most enjoyable entertainment. Thank you also to the ladies (and gentlemen) who spent all day preparing food and also the ladies and one gentieman who brought cakes etc. and especially to Mrs. Cracknell (Sheila White's mother) who made the magnificent cake. It ·would be most helpful for future parties if more people, gentlemen as well as ladies, could bring cakes, mince pies etc. as it is unfair to expect the ladies of the main and social committees to make sufficient cakes themselves to feed 130 people at two sessions.
Thank you very much Fred .McAndrew for your splendid calling on the evening of the Christmas Ramble and to Maurice O'Brien for his work in organising the day.
