TUESDAY EVENINGS ARE,CAUSING CONCERN

The Committee have decided to draw members attention to the fact that, while Tuesday evening socials continue to be a social success and geatly enjoyed by those who come, they are becoming an ever increasing financial burden. The Treasurer recommended an increase in the·change for each evening from 15p to 20p, but if the attendancce were further reduced, or even if it remained the same this would not be sufficient to bring the account into balance. The only real solution is increased attendance - an average of eight more every Tuesday would put everything right. It has been decided therefore to keep the prioe tne same for this list and appeal to members to try to come more often. If the response is disappointing the Oommitte will have to decide at their next meeting, on Friday April 1th, whether to increase the charge or reduce the number of meetings at Bunhill Row, or both. Meanwhile the ball is in your court, so play the game for the benifit of the club and your fellow members.
