DAY OF RECOLLECTION - SUNDAY15 MARCH 1987


This will be held at ST PETER'S MONASTERY 522abc LORDSHIP LANE, EAST DULWICH.
All members are invited to attend. There is no fixed charge for the day, but
a donation of about £5 ger head has been suggested. The Mass on this day will be said for the repose of the soul of Joe Lee.

How to get there - Buses No P4, 12, 63, 176, 185 pass the door.
The nearest British Rail station is Forest Hill - frequent trains from London
Bridge, Charing Cross and East Croydon. From the station the Monastery is a ten minute walk along the South Circular towards Dulwich.

Maurice Hickman is organising a visit to interestinq Taverns at Horsham. Possibly a short walk after lunch. Meet VICTORIA, at 9 47 for train to HORSHAM arriving 10 53 - Pub lunch if possible.


EASTER WEEKEND - FRIDAY 17 - MONDAY 20 APPIL 1987
This will be to SANDOWN - Isle of Wight. Meet Friday morning at Victoria Station for 10 20 train to RYDE PIER HEAD via Portsmouth - boat arrives at Ryde, IOW at 13 00 Hrs. This will be a partly self caterinq weekend so bring somethinag to cook for Saturday breakfast. Possihly eat out in the evenings.
On Saturday catch the bus to Totland, short walk before having early tea with the White family, Club members who now live on the IOW.
Ten places have been reserved at the Hostel. Any members wishing to go on this weekend please let Maurice Hickman know by the end of March with a £10 Deposit. Any places not taken by the end of March will be cancelled.


SPRING BANK HOLIDAY - SATURDAY 23 - MONDAY 25 MAY 1987
Ann & Frank Keating are organising a Hostel weekend in the Yorkshire Dales. If interested please sand a £10 deposit and SAE for details not later than the end of March. Frank has sent some information on Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the area. If anyone is interested, please contact the Secretary.
Many members may already be aware that JOE LEE died on 5 December. We have received a letter from his niece thanking everyone who sent him cards and for remembering him. She also wishes to thank the people who visited him while he was ill and for their kindnoss to her when she came to visit. Masses have been offered for those who have known and cared for him. Please remember him in your prayers.
