We offer deepest sympathy·to·Prank Keating on the death of his mother on Christmas Eve. MASS will be offered for the repose of her soul in St Joseph's, Bunhill Row on TUESDAY13 MARCH 1979 at 7.00 pms.

REMINDER
Some members have not as yet renewed their annual subscription. This should be done as soon as possible. As from September !979 it will be possible to obtain life membership of the Club after 10 consecutive years of ordinary membership. Don't jeopardize your chance of this by letting membership lapse now. LETTERS TO COMMITTEE MEMBERS - When writing to the. Club Treasurer, pLease do not write 'Treasurer' on the envelope. It is not always a good idea to advertise the fact that there may be cash, cheques or postaI orders in a letter. Also, when sending payment to an individual for show tickets or for an outing, please make cheques and postal orders payable to the person and not the Club.

DAYOF RECOLLECTION
This will be on 18 MARCH not 11 March at All Saints Pastoral Centre, Londen Colney, Herts. Train leaves St. Pancras ;at 950 arriving Radlett at 10.21 - fare £!.25 CDR. There is a 2/3 mile rarmble from Radlett to All Saints. AIternatively, the same train arrives at St Albans 9 minutes later - fare £1.40 CDR. There is a bus frem St Albans to All Saints and anyene wishing details of this please contact Anne Walsh. Recently almost all British Rail Sunday services have been disrupted by engineering works and it is cdvisable to check train times shortly before hand (Tel 387 7070). The Centre organisers would like to know the number of people likely to attend about a week beforehand so would all those intending to be present
please let Anne Walsh know by 10 March et the latest. Cost will be about £l.2O. Bring packed lunch.


SOUTH.AMERlCAN CARNIVALS - on Friday evenings during the morrth of March various kinds of carnivals are being held in the Latin American .Centre in London. Anyone interested in attending any of these contact Finola Hickey for full details.


BUBBLING BROWN SUGAR - Frank Keating is hoping to organise on outing to this show on SATURDAY 24 MARCH at the Leicester Square Theatre. If you are interested send £4.00 to Frank by 23 February, Meet ot 6.30 pm at the booking office if you wish to go for a coffee before the show.

IPI TOMBI - is at the Whitehall Thealre and anyone wishing to see this on SATURDAY 21. APRIL, send £2,.50 to Frank Keating by 2 March. This show starts at 6.15 PM, so meet outside theatre at 5.45 pm.


EASTER WEEKEND. Last date for booking for the trip to Bath was gven as end of February, instead of end of January. It has proved popular and the booking at the hostel has already been made. If anyone desperately wants to go, contact Frank Keating immediately and he will endeevour to have you fitted it.


HOLLAND- If you are interested in q weekend trip to Holland FRIDAY 4 - MONDAY 7 MAY, let Frank Keat ing know by 7 April. The trip is "The Tulip Route" and goes to The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, Bed and breakfast in twin bedded rooms cost £4O.O0 inclusive.


CHILDREN'S PARTY - It is hoped that this will be held during May at St Aloysious Infant's School, Euston. Anyone wishing further details or offering help, contact Anne Walsh.

SCILLY ISLES ProvioionaI dates Saturday 15 - Saturday 29 September
Accommodation. Guest houses at Hugh Town on St Mary's Islaind and at Penzance,
Cost .. about £50 per week for bed, breakfast and evening meal,
Travel - by train to Penzance - fare about £23.00 - boat (2 1/2 hours) to St Mary's
- fare £14.00 return, or helicopter (20 mins) about £80.00 return.
Most of the holiday will be spent on the Scilly Isles, but a few days will probably be spent at Penzance, LocaI boatmen provide excursions in suitable weather to the other four inhabited islands and to (or round) the other islands and bird colonised rocks. At the end of September grey seals breed on the westermost of these islands. Other attractions are archaeologicaI monuments, castles arid very few cars or roads.
