CHRISTMAS RANBLE - SUNDAY 11 DECEMBER 1977
He are pleased to report that although Fr Clayton has retired from St Bede's,
Croxley Green the new Parish Priest Fr Staunton is extending a welcome to us for this event. The arrangements are the same as last year - Mass at 6.00 pm, tea and dancing. Please bring soft shoes. Cost of tea and evening approximately 70p.
CHRISTMAS PARTY - SATURDAY 7 JANUARY 1978
This will be he held at ST JOSEPH'S SCHOOL, BUt-IHILLROW. The School has closed and the first floor has now been furnished by the parish for use as a Parish Hall.
The Party will be from 4 00 - 10 pm.
Volunteers who are able to help in any way, please contact Mary Walsh.
DIRECTIONS - for new members, Moorgate Tube Station, turn north past Ropemaker St and Eldon Street to Finsbury Square on the right and Chiswell Street on the left; turn into Chiswell street and take the first road on the right Bunhill Row, then the first road on the left Lambs Passage, the school gate is then on the right past the new Presbytery - then follow the noise across the playground and up the stairs!
DAY OF RECOLLECTION - SUNDAY 26 FEBRUARY 1978
This will be held at ALL SAINTS PASTORAL CENTRE, LONDON COLNEY, Herts.
From 11 15 am - 5 60 pm., Cost approximately £1. Bring packed lunch.
Travelling arrangements - Those coming are advised to make enquiries regarding times of Green Line 717 buses and other buses. The following is being arranged by the club - take the 9 50 train f'rom ST PANCRAS to RADLETT which arrives at 10 21 (always advisable to check Sunday train times) Fare £1.05 (CDR at Nov 77). This train will be met at Radlett and a short ramble of 2/3 miles will be led from the station to All Saints. For anyone unable to walk transport will be provided.
Maureen Furlong will be glad to answer queries rcgarding the arrangements and she would also like to hear from any members who will be coming by car and willing to offer lifts from Radlett Station to All Saints and back, if neccessary. Any drivers requiring a map of the area, please apply to Mary Walsh.
