      Events on Tuesday evenings start et 7.15.p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Please .rrive early. If you come straight from vrork you can meet beforehand at either the Cooper Kitchen or the Terroni Restaurant, both of wich are in Eldon Street, Moorgate.

 

CHRISTMAS PARTY - 9th January 1971.

      This Will be held at the Convent of Mercy, Crispin Street. The Party

will start at 4.30,p.m. with a buffet and the fun end games commence et 6.00.p.m. approx. The oost will be 5/-.      The Catering, Officer, Patricia Hobbs, will be after offers of cakes, mince pies etc. and. help on the day.

 

      The Convent is reached. thus:

      On leaving Liverpool Street Station by the Bishopsgate exit, turn left up          Bishopsgate towards Shoreditch. Take the 4th turning on the right                  (Brishfield Street) and the 4th turning again on the right. This is Crispin          Street.       The Convent entrance is on the right,  Go to the door furthest        along, the first entrance is for the poor men.

      This will be held. on Sunday, 13th December 1970 at the Oast House, Otford. The cost will be 10/- approx, If you don't want to go on the ramble we will be quite pleased to see you at the dance. We're hoping the vreather will not be quite as bad as last year!             If you wish to go pleese give Mary Hickman 10/­ - by 8th December 1970 at the latest.

 

HOLIDAY MEETlNG

 

The Holiday Meeting will be held on Tuesdey, 8th December 1970. Nor is the time to be.planning 'next year's holidays. Please bring full details such as

ADVANCE NOTICES

 

EASTER WEEKEND 1971.

 

      The weekend will be spent at Bakewell in the Peak District National Park.

Travel vrill be by private coach leaving London on Friday morning and returning on Monday evening. The walks will cover some of the hills and dales left un­covered when vwe were there in 1969. If you are interested please contact Richard with £2 deposit AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as we have only been able to book 32 Places, The total oost will be £5. Guest House accomml accommodation will be investigated if anyone else prefers this.   

 

THE ANNUAL DINNER AND DANCE will be held at .the Shaftesbury Hotel, Monmouth Street, London, WC2. on Saturday, 15th May 1971. The cost vrill be 32/6d. for single people and 30/- for married couples, so start saving now.

          

 

We regret to hear of the deaths of Rosaleen Talbott's end Molly Coale's Mother; Pat Marsdens Father and. Bill Neill's Father. A Mass vlill be said on Tuesday, 15th December 1970 for the above and also for Christina Bragg's.. Mother end Mary Kyte's Mother whose deaths were announced on previous lists.

 

Pat Marsden's Father was one of the first members of the Club and shared

in the work of building it up in the early days.      Please pray for the souls

of all of the above and try to come to the Mass if you possibly can.

 

The Committee would like to thank the outgoing Committee for the hard work they have done.
