CHRISTMA$ RAMBLE Sunday 13th. December '64 . A Kentucky Grill and tea with Christmas cake has been booked at the Oast House Restaurant Otford. The restaurant is licensed and we will be staying on for a socia l evening until 9.45. p.m.
Will members wishing to have tea on the day please obtain a ticket from Maurice O'Brien price 5/- NOT LATER THAN TUESDAY 8th December as numbers must be notified in advance. Light shoes must be warn for the social which will cost 2/-. Members may join for the evening only.

CHRISTMAS PARTY. Saturday 9th. January '65 4.30 to 10 - 10
The party will again be held at the Cnvent of Mercy, Providence Row Night Refuge, Crspin Street, London E1. Directions to the Convent are as follows: From Liverpool StreetStation, BishopsGate entrance proceed towards Shoreditch, take the 4th. turning on the right Brushfield Street, then the 4th. turning again on the right - Crispin Street and the entrance to the Convent is on the right. The Convent may also be approached from Aldgate by proceeding directly along Goulstion St. A "running buffet" will be served from 4.45 to 6.00 p.m. At the door a charge of 4/6 per head will be made. We shall be very pleased to receive offers for heIp on the Saturday morning and especially offers for home aide savouries and cakes. Bernie Doran and Jackie Tllley will be delited to hear from those who are abIe to assist in either way. ANNUAL DINNER AND DANCE Saturday 13th. February ' 65 At the Shaftesbury Hotel, Monmouth Street, WC.2. This event is always lively and most enjoyable–- an opportunity for the ladies to show that we can be light on our feet and dainty in our attire (ie no boots, no rucksacks) And the gentlemen --gallant-- So, hide away 2/3 per week from now and buy your tickets 25/-- each from any member of the committee. ANNUAL RETREAT Sunday 14th. March '65 at La Retraite Convent, Atkins Rd., Clapham Park, SW 12. The cost of the Retreat will be 10/-. This includes lunch and tea. Details regarding time and how to reach the Convent will be on the next list (Mass will probably be at 12 noon to give members time to travel up to London, the Convent is a 30min. journey from from Charing Cross by tube). Will those who wish to attend please let Mary Walsh have their names by Ist. of March in order that the meals may be booked.
EASTER 15th to 19tih April. The Club Easter weekend will be at a Youth Hostel Centre this year, if
possible near to "Hotels", Will members interasted in either accommodation please let Tony Chainey Meg Walsh know by early January, not later than the 15th. so that they have a good idea of the numbers to cater for. Full details regarding locality and cost will be announced later. SUMMER HOLIDAYS Please see the other list for the date of the meetIng and come along with any ideas that you may have for a CIub holiday, Your Committee looks forward to a happy, lively year of office.
