Programme of Rambles / Events for Autumn 2019

Thanks to all the leaders we have a very varied programme, please support their efforts.

Given the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is soon to be with us, and then the steadily reducing hours of daylight, please ensure you have torches with you as finishing a ramble in daylight cannot always be guaranteed. Lead Thou Kindly Light but do bring your own.

By the end of the period covered by this programme it will be time to pay your subscriptions for 2019-2020 so please don't put it off. A cheque for £12, payable to "St Francis of Assisi Catholic Ramblers Club", should be sent to John Burbage.

Those who joined the Club for the first time after 31st July do not need to pay again at this time as their initial subscription takes them up to October 2020.

Members who attend the AGM will have the opportunity to pay then.

AGM and Mass for deceased members Saturday 19th October at

St Mary Moorfields Church Hall 4 - 5 Eldon Street EC2M 7LS.

The AGM will start at 4pm and will be followed by Mass at 6pm for the deceased members of the Club. A full list of the deceased members will be available for all present at this Mass.

As per the Club Constitution a chairman/woman will be elected to conduct the meeting should the president be unable attend. The one item on the agenda which all club members should pay close attention to is the election of a new committee. Put simply; 'No Committee No Club'. It is also important that as many members as possible attend the AGM.

Below is a nomination form on which members can be nominated for membership of the committee. Each nomination form must be signed by a person nominating a member, a person seconding the nomination and the person being nominated. Forms which do not have all three signatures will not be presented to the AGM.

Please note; if you wish to nominate other members their consent must be sought first. The unselfish thing to do however, is to nominate yourself!
