Holiday in Cornwall in May: I heard glowing accounts of the walking holiday in Cornwall in May. Some photographs showing a challenging array of walks can be seen at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2001851&l=084ee&id=1394299451
Those who attended send their thanks to Marie Tisi for all she did to make it so enjoyable.

Publicising the Club: If your parish does not have our poster on its notice board please get a copy of the new one from the secretary or one of the membership secretaries and ask your parish priest for permission to put it up, or if there is one there already just replace it with the new one showing the names and details of the membership secretaries for the current year.

Obituaries: We were sorry to hear of the death of the following: Fred McAndrew on 2 August. Fred had been a member since 1957-58 and became a life member in 1982. He was a much loved vice president and played a key part in organising the celebration of the club’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee celebrations;

Dennis Spiller who, with his wife Barbara was a long standing life member. At the time the last newsletter was compiled Dennis was ill in Stoke Mandeville hospital but unfortunately died before we dispatched the programme. Sincere sympathy to Barbara and her relatives.

Fr Anthony Finnegan OCSO (brother of Tony Finnegan and Alice Kennedy) died on 20 July.

Sick members: Please remember in your prayers members who are prevented from walking due to illness.

Future Dates for Your Diary

God bless and happy rambling.
