Other suggestions so far to celebrate this occasion are a dinner dance, HolidaylPilgrimage to Assisi, a new club badge. We would welcome any other ideas plus feedback on ideas so far and some action from club members. If anyone knows of a suitable hall to hold a function which is not too expensive please let me know.
Summer Party:
There was a small crowd at the party this year probably due to the very hot weather, and the fact we did not sell tickets before the party on account that we could not collect money on the door. However the party proved a success and most of those present took 'the opportunity to buy their copy of the history of the club. We would like to thank those who did attend. We
also had a change of music as the group Ibooked cancelled two days
before the party. The venue was very suitable and is available if required for future bookings.

Please note at the end of September the winter timetable for the trains comes into effect and at the time this programme was being prepared the new details were not available. Please phone 0345484950 prior tocoming on a ramble if you wish to check the times.
