ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Please let the Secretary have any motions for the Annual General Meeting by the last week of August, so that there is time to have the Agenda typed and run off. The run off will take place on Tuesday 18 September (from 7 30 pm) at 30 Briarwood road, Clapham Park. Offers of help will be most welcome. The AGM will take place on TUESDAY 9 OCTOBER at St Mary Moorfields, Eldon Street starting with Mass at 7 00 pm.
NOMINATIONS FOR NEXT YEAR'S COMMITTEE
In the next few weeks Members of the Committee will be press-ganging
you to serve on the Committee. If you have enjoyed the rambles and other activities of the Club, perhaps you could pay the Club back in return by becoming a member of the Committee. You will feel more part of the Club if you help to run it. If you wish to nominate a Club member fill in the form at the end of the list. All paid up members whether recent or long standing are eligible to serve on the Committee.
ANNUAL COACH OUTING
This will be on SUNDAY 30 SEPTEMBER to BURY ST EDMUNDS, leaving
Victoria Coach Station at 1000 am. A weekend has also been organised
for those who wish to see more of the countryside. We shall stay at
a guest house and leave on Friday night 28 September at 6 00 pm on
Service 082 from Bay 4 of Victoria Coach Station. Cost of bed/ breakfast for two nights and coach fare is about £22. Since there is only limited accommodation those who wish to go with the main party should write to Maurice with a SAE by the end of August. If required a list of accommodation in the town can be sent. Everyone will leave
Bury St Fdmunds at 18 00 on Sunday arriving back at Victoria at 20 05.
BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATIONS WEEKEND FRIDAY 19 - SUNDAY 21 OCTOBER
Don't miss this opportunity to see the BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATIONS.
We shall leave Euston at 9 45 am on Friday 19 October arriving at
Blackpool in the early afternoon. We shall return early on Sunday afternoon and stay at a Guest House near Blackpool North Station.
The total cost, including rail fare from any Southern Region station
and bed and breakfast and evening meal for two nights is £50.
Single room supplement is £2. The cost does not include tube travel
