RAMBLE & SQUARE DANCE .AT CROXLEY GREEN - SUNDAY 18TH JUNE

See list for dcto.ils of rumble. A salad toa will be served at St.Bede's,

Croxley Green by Committee (helpers will be wolcome]) followed by Mass at

6.00.  A square dance will be called by Fred McAndrew, in the open (weather permitting). Pleaso bring knifei, forks and spoon. You may bring change of clothing, if you wish, and soft shoes, Cost135p.

DEATH OF MRS.HICKMAN

We are distressed to report the death of Mrs,Hickman. Our sympathy goos to Mary, Dorothy and Maurice. Mass will be said a.t 7.30 P,M. on Tues, June 27th at Bunhill Row.

 

As a temporary measure the Conmittee have unanimously elected Mr. Peter do Smith to carry out the duties of Club Secretary and all correspondence dealing with the Club should bo sent to him.

CLUB HOLIDAYS

ISLE OF MAN, Dorothy Hickman is organising a week's holiday to the Isle of Man, 9 - 16th Sept. Accommodation will be in a guest house at St.John's, near Peel. Travel will be by train and boat via. BETCHWORTH FOOTPATH WALKS

 

Guided footpath walks within the Parish boundary will take place on the following dats. No clearing or way marking will be done. The walks are simply for pleasure and/or noting obstructions, missing footpath signs, stiles etc. Everybody will be welcome. All walks are on Saturdays, 2P.M.

 

3rd June,   starting and returning to Weirmead Farm (cornor of Wellhouse  

                  Lane and Wheeler's Lane, Strood Groen). 4 - 5 miles.

 

24th June, starting - Post Office and returning to station, steep and hilly walk,

                  3 - 4 miles or can be extended to Headley.

 

22nd July,  starting at Betchworth station and returning to "Red Lion!", 4 - 5  

                  miles.

 

5th August, starting at Gadbrook Cross Roads and returning to Brockham

                   Green.

                   About 4 miles, or can be extended either to Leigh or to 

                   Holmwood.
