In May 2004 Phil Evans was at the height of his ramble leading career and in the Spring programme of that year the following ramble appeared for 2 May, being the first of three rambles Phil was to lead that month,

In those days not many of us had graduated to the world of digital photography so the number of photographs taken on each ramble was much lower than in the 2010s. Accordingly I only received the following photographs for this ramble.
