On Sunday 2 December 2018 Maria Vaz led the weekly walk in the beautiful countryside around Chesham. Maria has now led several walks for the club and her popularity as a leader is obvious from the number of ramblers on this walk.

Sunday 2nd December Leader: Maria Vaz (OS Explorer 181)

Meet:       Marylebone 0930 for the 0957 train to Chalfont & Latimer (arr                        1028) then change for Metropolitan line at 0936 to Chesham                           (arr 1044)

Lunch:     The White Hart, Whelpley Hill

Tea:          The Generals Arms, Chesham

Distance: 9 mile ramble in the scenic Chiltern countryside; some hills                             including one stile in the afternoon. Expect some muddy                                 paths after wet weather. Returning from Chesham. Direct                               Metropolitan services back to Baker Street and Beyond.
