Ramblers can also join this train at East Croydon 0909, London Bridge 0926, Blackfriars 0932, Farringdon 0936 and Finsbury Park 0948.
Lunch: Rose & Crown Ashwell. Good menu, reasonable prices.
Tea: Baldock
Distance: 11 miles returning from Baldock. Two trains per hour back to London. A couple of shallow hills, one in the morning and one after lunch.
Fare: CDR Baldock £11.05 / Boundary zone 6 £7.35. Both with railcard discounts.
