Back in 1999, on 19 December, I led the Christmas Ramble from Norbury to Colliers where we were served up an excellent buffet arranged by Paul Connolly. The venue was the Kings Head pub which alas is no longer a pub but the premises are occupied by the offices of a London bus company. We were coralled in the pannelled room over the pub and some of our photographers were in action to produce the following mementos of the occasion (presented in no particular order).
During the buffet Witold, on b ehalf of the club membership, pesented a bouquet of flowers to helen to mark the end of her period as club Secretary and her election as Vice President at the AGM the previous October
The previous evening we had attended the annual Christmas dinner, held this year at Brahms restaurant in Lupus Street. Cameras were not as active at this but I did receive a few photographs which appear below.
Earlier in 1999 on an occasion I cannot even recall I took the following two photographs on a ramble which looks as if it was led by Maurice Hickman and and by the looks of the items on the ground it seems to have been something of a picnic.
