On 10 October 2010 we enjoyed Robert's walk close to the scene of

the battle of Hastings which is rapidly becoming an annual club event.

My memories of the day and those of other photographers below.  Just

scroll down through them to share the memories.

Having wended our way by different routes from the station in Hastings

to the sea front the ramblers met up at a pre arranged point in front of

the Queen Victoria monument

First a photo taken by the leader himself

And then a brisk walk along the promenade in brilliant autumn sunshine

We eventually enjoyed delightful scenes in the Sussex countryside in both the

morning and afternoon parts of the walk

We saw some unusual fungi and Sheila couldn't resist a photograph

One of our photographers posed for a photograph on a well constructed

footbridge over a stream

The Plough Inn  at Crowhurst provided good value food in generous

servings

Photographs were taken in the pub's garden by three different cameras producing different

sized images

And so on with the afternoon walk but no further photographs have

reached me
