In 1999 Father Peter Grant was honoured by being made a Monsignor.  Peter had walked with the club nearly every week since taking up his post at the Nunciature in Wimbledon and the club was privileged to be represented at his conferring as a Monsignor at theNunciature. Our representatives were the then Vice President (Paul Brunning), Secretary (Helen Hunt) and Treasurer (Gilian McLauchlan).

Unfortunately we received no photographs of our representatives with Peter.  The first photograph below shows Paul and Gillian with some members of Peter's family, the secon shows Peter himself with others who were present and then there are some random photographs of the celebrations.
