On Sunday 16 October 2016 Helen Hunt led a group of 11 ramblers (12 after lunch) on a walk advertised as follows in the Autumn programme on the website:

Sunday 16th October    Leader:   Helen Hunt           OS map 188

Meet  : Victoria at 09 15 for the 09 36 train to Aylesford - change at Maidstone. Please note that the change at Maidstone East involves a short walk over the bridge to Maidstone Barracks from where the train takes only a few minutes to get to Aylesford.

Lunch :The Robin Hood Pub, Blue Bell Hill (grid reference 735627) after the only steep hill on the ramble which will work up an appetite!  Pub serves food at reasonable prices.

Tea :  Possibly in Aylesford village.

Distance : 9 miles - easy apart from the one hill before lunch, returning from Aylesford.

Fare  :  £9.75 CDR Aylesford from Victoria, £7.45 from Zone 6 boundary, both with NSE discount.

In the event the trains from Maidstone Barracks were replaced by buses and we had a long wait for one. However once we got going our photographers cameras got busy. So far I have received the photographs below from Antoinette but I expect some more later.

I hope to have further photographs to put up later and, when time allows I will add some captions but I thought it best to get these photographs up as soon as possible after the ramble.
