On 9th October 2010 the club marked the passing of 80 years of its existence with a dinner kindly arranged by Fr Peter in St Mary Moorfields Church hall.  Our regular photographer was on hand as usual but unfortunately accidentally deleted all but two of her photographs before sending them to the website manager.  The first two below are her two survivors and the remainder were taken by Helen Hunt.  I will not caption them individually but collectively the demonstrate a pleasant and convivial in which current and past ramblers enjoyed excellent fare in the presence of Bishop George Stack who represented our patron Archbishop Vincent Nichols.

This one looks as if St Francis is depicted about to jump into a bowl of blueberries!!

A magnificent cake had been prepared for the occasion
